Oasis VoxBox

A couple of weeks ago Influenster sent me their Oasis VoxBox packed with products to try. I was excited to give them a go. But before I tell you what I thought of them I should tell you what I received. Inside this cute little box was 

• COVERGIRL's Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation (in shade #710 Classic Ivory)
• Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer  
• Vera Wang Embrace (in 2 scents Rosebud & Vanilla, and Periwinkle & Iris)
• ALOHA Organic Protein Bar (1 bar Peanut Butter & Jelly)
• Welch's® Fruit Rolls (3 flavors Tropical Punch, Berry, and White Grape Strawberry)
• Evolution Fresh Juice (2 coupons which I redeemed for 2 bottles of Orange Juice)






Now lets get into how everything was. Of course I will start with the food because who doesn't like trying new food. The first product I tried was the ALOHA Organic Protein Bar in Peanut Butter & Jelly. 





I was excited to try this bar, the packaging was very cute and appealing (I mean just look at it). When I opened it looked a bit dry and not as appealing as the packaging. The taste was a lot like it's appearance. It was dry and to me it didn't taste much like peanut butter or jelly. I also wasn't a fan of the texture. I ended up not finishing the bar. I did give the rest of it to my nephew who ate it with no complaint. So I guess it really depends on your taste. It wasn't for my but my nephew loved it.




I was impressed with the Welch's Fruit Rolls. There were 3 flavors in the box (White Grape Strawberry, Berry, and Tropical Punch). They are delicious and I like how they are not as thick as other fruit rolls. They taste like the fruit that they say they are. Also they are a great snack to take anywhere.





I was surprised by how yummy Evolution Fresh Juice was. I received 2 coupons to redeem in store for a bottle of Evolution Fresh Cold- Pressed Juice. These were a little hard to find. I was only able to find their Orange Juice, but I'm not complaining. It was delicious. It has such a nice fresh taste, some of the best juice I have had! And I love that it is only orange juice with no added anything. Really the only ingredient in Orange Juice! I can't wait to find more flavors to try out. 





Now onto the non food items. First is the 2 Vera Wang Embrace fragrances (Periwinkle and Iris, & Rose Buds and Vanilla). I really liked both of these scents. Both have a beautiful floral smell. Very nice & light, not overbearing which is great for the sensitive noses. They are a great perfume for anytime of the day! I wear it almost every day even if I'm just running errands or hanging around the house.





I normally don't use hair products, so I was excited to try Eva•NYC Mane Magic 10 in 1 primer and see how it works and I'm impressed. It works wonderfully! It detangles, softens, adds shine, reduces fizz, and so much more! First thing I noticed with this product is that it smells amazing! I love when my hair smells good, so that in itself makes me want to continue using it. I noticed that my hair appeared be softer and shinier. It also soothes my frizz and detangles wonderfully. 





Lastly I have been using CoverGirl's Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation and I have to say it is awesome! It has great coverage, but is also lightweight (which is wonderful for the Florida heat). The color blended well and had great coverage. It never looked or felt cakey. I also liked that there are vitamins that help keep my skin healthy. And it has a pleasant scent. Overall it is a great foundation, and is quickly becoming my favorite.

Overall I loved this VoxBox and I can't wait until my next box!

Maybelline #GreatLashBlue VoxBox

I used to love messing around with colorful mascaras while in school, but as time went by I stopped with the colors and just stayed with black. Though black mascara is great itself, it can be fun to experiment and try different looks. So I was super excited to be pick to review Influenster's #GreatLashBlue VoxBox. I received Maybelline's Great Lash mascara in the color Royal Blue along with their Unstoppable eyeliner in Onyx.

First off I have to say that the box itself is so cute! It so pink and blue. I love it. Ok on to the products. For the eyeliner, its very nice. It is a lovely onyx black color that goes on smoothly and it is easy to apply. I can see myself using it all the time.

As for the mascara. Like I said before it has been awhile since I used any color beside black, therefor I was a little scared to try it out. However there was no reason to be. The color isn't overwhelming at all, it is a subtle but beautiful blue color, and is perfect for Spring and Summer. The mascara itself adds a bit of volume and length, and I didn't notice any clumping. The color is like I said very subtle, but it is buildable. So the more coats you do the bolder color you get. Although I can't get it to show up in pictures the blue is there.

What I liked best of all is you can rock this everyday. It is wonderful for a bold look, but it is also great for a softer look! I'm very pleased with both the mascara and eyeliner. There are so many looks I plan on doing and I can't wait to continue to use them both.

Jingle VoxBox

Shortly before Christmas Influenster sent me their awesome Jingle VoxBox. My box had a combination of products from food to beauty. I'm so excited to share with you what I received.

In my Jingle VoxBox was a coupon for a free bag of Ore-Ida tater tots, Biscoff cookies, a Hallmark Itty Bitty, a little sample tub of Cetaphil Moisturizing cream, a bottle of Pure Ice nail polish, NYC New York Color 24HR Waterproof eyeliner, a pair of Kiss True Volume Lashes and Strip Lash Adhesive.

Ore-Ida: I was given a coupon for a free bag of any Ore-Ida tater tot product. And of course I ran out and got a bag as fast as I could! I love tater tots especially Ore-Ida's mini tater tots. They are so yummy! I'll normally have some for lunch with a bit of melted cheese on top! Yummy Yummy!

Biscoff: I received 3 packs with 2 cookies in each pack. Their tag line "Europe's Favorite cookie with coffee." is quite right I do like them with coffee but I actually like them better on their own. They are nice and sweet but not overly so. They have a good texture and taste so good. I'm eating some right now. I think I found my new favorite cookie. And they remind me of cookies I use to eat when I was young and they bring back all those memories! 

Hallmark Itty Bittys: Oh my goodness these are so cute and so soft. They are awesome. I got Olaf but they have tons of others. They have Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Rainbow Brite, Barbie, and Scooby just to name a few. I see myself have a huge collection in the near future. There are so many I want.

Cetaphil Moisturizing cream: This cream is thick but not heavy. It absorbed very quickly and left no weird lotion feeling like some creams leave. I was genuinely happy with this cream. I have really bad eczema on a couple of my fingers and this cream did an amazing job of moisturizing them. They stopped hurting and never cracked like the normally do. It even made my 13 year old tattoo look awesome.

Pure Ice Nail polish: My polish was in the color Shore Bet, which is a nice beige color. I was happy with this color. Lately I have been into neutral colors and this is a great one.It goes on nice and smoothly. And it lasted longer than I thought it would. I had it on for just over a week before it started to chip.

NYC New York Color 24HR Waterproof eyeliner: The eyeliner I received came in black. I have to say I've had this eyeliner for about month now and use it almost daily. It goes on smoothly and evenly. It last all day long and doesn't smudge. 

Kiss True Volume Lashes & Strip Lash Adhesive: Last but not least I received a pair of Kiss lashes and clear adhesive. Now I have never used fake lashes before but I was excited to try them out. I have wanted to try lashes for a long time but never got around to getting any.  I was a little nervous when it came to putting these on and truth be told I had a difficult time trying to get these on. It took me awhile to get these on and I was never sincerely happy with them once they were on.  But they were definitely soft to the touch and felt real and looked as real as they could thanks to their tapered ends. Even though I haven't mastered these (yet) I had fun with them and plan on trying to use them again.

Overall I loved my Jingle VoxBox. It had amazing products to try and I had a blast trying them!

L'Oréal Paris Ultimate Straight

I was picked to join the Influnster L'Oreal Paris Ultimate Straight VoxBox. In my lovely little voxbox was the L'Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight Shampoo, Straight Boosting Pre-conditioner, Conditioner, and the Perfecting Balm. This line is made for those who straighten their hair often. The Ultimate straight starts before the heat. Advanced Hair care Smooth Intense Ultimate Straight starts straightening hair in the shower, for hair that is shiny, straight, and perfect for up to 48 hours. 

Now I already have straight hair and don't use a straightener. But I did try these out, but it really didn't do anything for me, But I do love the smell. So I gave this line to my sister who has thick frizzy hair and uses her straightener almost every day. 

She did like them well enough. They do leave her hair smooth and straighter. They controlled her fizz and made it a little easier to style. The best thing though is the smell. They leave your hair smelling so good. But the downside (it is a small downside) It does take extra time to use all the products, there are 4 of them that you use in one washing. Also the pre-conditioner and conditioner have to sit in your hair for a minute or two each. But the times when I used the products I used the time while I was conditioning to shave so It wasn't a total waste. All in all they work well and if you have to fight with your hair everyday to get it straight then you should try this.

Carefree Acti-Fresh Thin Liners

I recently received The Carefree VoxBox from Influenster. It included a package of Carefree Acti-Fresh Thin Liners. Which are designed to deliver freshness, thanks to an 8-hour odor control system and to feel as soft and thin as your panties, so all you feel is confident. 

I normally don't wear liners, I always assumed they would be to small for me and a bit uncomfortable. But I have to admit I really like these liners. They are decently absorbent. They took care of any little leaks or discharge that happened. I even felt fresher on the days I wore one. They are super thin and comfortable. They don't move or bunch up. I actually forgot I was wearing them. You really don't feel them at all. I do wish they were a tiny bit longer, but besides that I thought they were great and I plan to continue using them.

Influenster Frosty VoxBox.

Just days before Christmas I get a wonderful gift in my mailbox. It was a beautiful red box from Influenster containing 8 awesome things. And Thanks to my sister who stole the box and wrapped it I had to wait until Christmas morning to unwrap it and look at all the free goodies. Now those who don't know Influenster is where they send you products (sometimes the product itself or coupons for it) for you to try and then review them (a lot like BzzAgent or Smiley360).

And now on to the wonderful things inside the beautiful red box. So first is Candy Cane Lane Green Tea from Celestial Seasonings. I had very low hopes for this tea since I'm not a fan of green tea. Though with the name like Candy Cane Lane I hoped I would like it at least a little bit. Sadly I did not. Like I said I'm not fawned of green tea and no amount of peppermint, sugar, and milk could change that.

Next we have Thyme from McCormick which I have used for years. It is a great seasoning that I use a lot on most of my home cooked meals. It has a nice light minty flavor, and good warm scent that always makes me hungry. It is something I will continue using.

I also received No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced. This serum used to reduce the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles, which thankfully I don't really have yet. So I haven't use this and don't really plan to. I might pass it to a friend and get their input on it.

Next is 2 products from Rimmel London. The first is Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner which surprised me a bit. I was expecting it to be like most other eyeliners but it is so much better. It went on so much smoother and easier than any other kohl eyeliner I have tried. It goes on a little thicker than others but I like that, it meant fewer passes over my eyes to get the look I wanted. I like Scandaleyes very much I will be getting this again.

The second Rimmel London product is Just Let it Go... Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. Like the names says it is a gentle eye makeup remover and it works very well. It took of my Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl eyeliner and Scandaleyes Curve Alert mascara (already owned/not from my Frosty VoxBox) off with ease. It left no oily residue it didn't irritate my eyes. This is another product I will continue to use.

Next we have NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum. I love lipsticks it is a great way to brighten up a face even on your laziest days. This lipstick is great the color is very close to my natural lip color so it is nice for the days you want a light look. I will be using this a lot. 

Second to last we have EcoTools Styler + Smoother Hairbrush. This brush is great I have no really problem with it. It goes through my hair nice and gently. There is no pull when it runs through a knot. The bristles are nice and firm but also soft. It is an overall nice brush. The only thing I have a problem with is the shedded hair can be a bit hard to remove from the brush.

And I saved the best for last Fruit Vines Bites. These were amazing! I have never had these before so I wasn't sure how they would be but I LOVE them. They were great and sweet and very addictive. I'm sad to say I eat the whole bag in one sitting and plan on getting more. They are awesome!
